How to reach us
The Institute of General Practice is located in House 10 C on the hospital grounds.
Regional train (S-Bahn) / tramThe closest stations are the main station (Hauptbahnhof) and south station (Südbahnhof).
From there you should change and take a tram to the "Universitätsklinikum" stop by:
- taking the number 21 tram from Hauptbahnhof (in the direction of Stadion)
- taking the number 15 tram from Südbahnhof (in the direction of Niederrad/Haardwaldplatz) or the number 19 tram (in the direction of Schwanheim/Rheinlandstraße).
Alternatively it will take you around 10 minutes to walk from the regional train station (S-Bahnhof) Stresemannallee (regional train numbers S3/S4)
If you take the number 21 tram, you can also get off at the "Vogelweidstraße" stop and walk down the streets Töplitzstraße / Ludwig-Rehn-Straße to the side entrance of the hospital grounds (after around 100 meters, you will see a large wrought iron gate on your right). Walk through the gate and after a further 60 meters you will see Building 10 on your left. Please take entrance 10 C on the right side of the building. You can see the way from the "Vogelweidstraße" stop to our Institute in Building 10 on the site map.
By carIf you take the A5 Autobahn, leave at the exit Frankfurt-Niederrad / Uni-Klinik and follow the signs in the direction of Niederrad / Uni-Klinik.
If you take the A3 Autobahn, drive until you reach the Südkreuz intersection from where you should take the B43/44 road in the direction of Stadtmitte (city center). At the first major roundabout, you should continue in the direction of Niederrad / Rennbahn / Uni-Klinik and follow the signs to Uni-Klinik.
If possible, it is generally more convenient to take public transport, as use of the visitors' car park at the main entrance is limited in duration and subject to a charge. Ongoing construction throughout the whole of the hospital grounds may lead to further difficulties. It is easiest to reach us by taking the tram from Frankfurt main station.

Subject to charge, you can also park in Sandhofstraße (behind the hospital grounds): €1.00 / hour up to a maximum daily rate of €8.
